Parkside’s expert research and development team carefully consider each vehicle for appropriate products. Every product is designed specifically for the individual vehicle model taking into account the car manufacturers specifications, ADRs, intended purpose and vehicle styling.

Parkside Towbars has an in-house airbag testing facility commissioned under the guidance of a leading Automotive Safety Engineer. This facility ensures that front products comply with Australian Design Rule 69 and will not inadvertently effect the triggering of airbags during a collision.

Parkside has an in-house towbar load test facility. This facility gives our designers immediate feedback on a towbar’s capability and ensuring that each product complies ADR 62.

Our design team works very closely with our parent company’s Engineering Director to ensure that all products comply with relevant design rules and correct standards and processes are in place.
